This is Chromium in PortableApps format. This default install will result in Chromium opening as default, storing all cookies, cache, passwords when asked, details etc…

Settings and other browser files that are required to run properly will be stored inside: "ChromiumPortable/App/DefaultData"

Inside you will find 2 executables:

1. chrome.exe: Default executable to open Chromium in normal mode.
2. chromeincognito.exe: This is simply to run Chromium in Incognito mode.

If you are running the PortableApps manager you will find 2 icons in the menu, one for normal mode and the other to open in Incognito.

Updating Chromium:

1. I'm assuming you have installed it as default so it was installed in a folder called ChromiumPortable.
2. Google build Chromium several times a day, so the download above is usually outdated within a few hours! You can find the builds in this link: http://commondatastorage.googleapis.com/chromium-browser-continuous/index.html?path=Win/.
3. In the page with the builds you just visited, scroll all the way to the bottom (goes in order by date/time), the point is to get to the latest build available. Click on the link that looks like a folder (usually the link/file just before "LAST_CHANGE"). It will be numbers like "12345".
4. Inside you will find several files, the one you will need to download is: chrome-win32.zip
5. Extract the contents of this folder somewhere in your computer, some good zip extracting tools are WinZip or my favorite, 7zip.
6. Copy and paste everything inside this folder to "ChromiumPortableApp". Overwrite everything if asked.
7. Since the DefaultData folder was not touched, your settings and other browsing details will still be intact.
